Shadowing - We participate in shadowing programs in cooperation with local public and private schools, as well as school-to-work "internships" and helping high school students complete senior class projects. Children from middle school up are able to visit with us for a day to see what the veterinary profession is all about.  Interested children should contact the guidance counselor at their school to find out more about shadowing opportunities.

Trap/Neuter/Release for Feral Cats We have humane trap that we allow our clients to borrow in order to trap feral cats. These cats are then spayed or neutered and released.  In this way, many of our clients help to maintain populations of feral cats without adding to their over-population problem.

Speaking to local groups - Dr. Burns is available to speak to school, church and civic groups.  We also participate in career day at many area schools and allow school groups and home-schooled groups to tour our hospital.
